After a sixty year relationship with wood, this could be your last chance to share with me the knowledge and skills that I have accumulated during the last 50 years of instrument making, before I meet The Great Carpenter of Nazareth. For thirty eight of these years I specialized in the making and designing of Non Pedal, Celtic, student, electronically amplified , triple and wire strung harps.
On many occasions I have had inquiries asking if I'd be prepared to produce drawings and details of harp designs. Unfortunately or fortunately ,having been engaged in full employment, I've had little time to embark on the above project even though it has always been in the back of my mind
Despite the effects of Anno Domini and after giving a great deal of thought and consideration to the above project.

I feel that I have a great deal of expertise to hand on to those who would be interested in taking on the craft of harp making as a recreational hobby, or as a craftsman who in turn would pass on these skills to future generations.
When I started harp making, with the assistance of the late John Thomas of Gwaelod Y Garth, we both had little encouragement from the harp fraternity in the possible reintroduction of the triple harp . Thirty years later there is a resurgence in the playing of this beautiful instrument which may be out of the reach of many talented harpists, during the coming months I hope to be able to simplify the construction of the triple harp and introduce it into this project.
