Choosing a Harp
(A 'Twpsyn' is a humorous Welsh word for calling an affectionate friend stupid)

String spacing on all our harps are similar to that of the modern concert harp thereby assisting the change over for the student who wishes to play more advanced studies on a concert harp at a later date.

The following tables are intended to show the chromatic variations that can be achieved on our Celtic harps.

Melodies in the key of C.
Turn all semi tone blades down and tune as for the key of C.

TUNING IN THE KEY OF F

Turn all B semi-tone blades up and tune all strings of the harp as for the key of C.
Then turn all the B semi-tone blades down, then the harp will be tuned in the key of F with Bb.
