1985 Commisioned by Celso Bogado of Los Reales del Paraguay to find a method of adding a semitone mechanism to a Paraguan harp. After attempting to attach many lever type semitone mechanisms it was decided to use a hook type mechanism as illistrated as lever type mechanisms jammed against the harmonic curve in the higher octave.

2002 Telynau Morganwg celebrated its twentieth anniversary at the Welsh College of Music and Drama with recitals given by Ieuan Jones, Harp Professor at the Royal College of Music and Catrin Finch, Harpist to the Prince of Wales.
Left to right, Valarie Aldrich-Smith. Priciple harpist BBC National Orchestra of Wales. Meinur Heulyn Principle harpist, Welsh National Opera. Catrin Finch, Harpist to the Prince of Wales. Gillian Green, Director Live Music Now Wales and Yours truly.
I am more than grateful to Meinur and Gillian, together with their group of assistant harpists, who have over the past twenty years continued to build up Telynau Morganwg into an institution that has benifited harpists of all ages. With Meinur and Gillian's leadership I am confident that it will continue to grow from strength to strength, which is well beyond what I envisaged 20 years ago.
