Commissioned by the newly formed rock group, The Sleeping Lions, to make an electronically amplified rock harp .

The group with their leading harpist Gaynor Saddler, brought out 2 records which went into the British charts and were featured extensively on radio and TV. The partnership of Anthony and Gaynor Saddler still use the above harp and are extremely successful media composers writing music for BBC2 Station Indents and advertising commercials.

1982 founded a harp school in Pontycymer with the assistance of Meinur Heulin, principle harpist Welsh National Opera and Gillian Green, peripatetic harp teacher.

40 students attended the first course at Tabernacle Chapel Pontycymer. The harp courses were arranged so as to take place during the local school holidays catering for students of all abilities , from beginners and intermediate to advanced levels, using our 38 string student harps which are used extensively in schools through out the UK.

1983 Represented Wales as harp maker at Pinkstermarkt, organised by Floor Van Rees at Ridderkerk Holland. Who has since become one of my very close friends.
